Sailing Into Summer with Luna
The past few weeks have brought some beautiful winds my way — both literally and figuratively.
I was honored to be featured in Slobodna Dalmacija, where I shared my journey from being an architect in Germany to becoming the captain of Luna, my sailboat and home. You can read the full article here.
One part of that interview really sums up how this path unfolded:
“Most of us live today under the illusion of security. It’s often described as life in a golden cage — you have everything, but inside, you’re empty.
You trade time for money. The years go by, and you live for some future moment that never arrives… Each of us must choose — will we follow someone else’s plan, or draw our own destiny?”
That choice is what led me here — to a sailboat, to the Adriatic, and to a life that feels true.

Final Thought: A Journey Shared
If someone had told me five years ago I’d be a full-time sailor guiding people through my favorite islands, I might’ve laughed. But life — like the sea — doesn’t go in straight lines.
As I said in the interview:
“Sailing is a dialogue with nature, just like architecture is a dialogue with space. Both worlds demand balance, silence and attention.”
