Matea Hakenberg grew up closely connected to the sea and water sports, a background that gradually drew her away from a conventional office career toward a life on the water. Luna embodies this transformation — a silver-grey yacht representing freedom, independence, and personal change. As an RYA Yachtmaster Offshore (Commercially Endorsed) and Certified Cruising Instructor, Matea has gained extensive offshore experience through yacht deliveries, regattas, charters and solo voyages.  Her approach to sailing combines solid seamanship with a love for the lifestyle that comes with it — long days at sea, good food made from fresh local ingredients and discovering the culture of the places she sails through. Her background in architecture also shapes the way she experiences these environments, paying attention to landscapes, coastal towns and the character of each place along the journey.
